The Interfaith Housing Alliance received more than $484,000 in federal grants to support the housing nonprofit's Purchase-Repair Homeownership Program.
The money will help those who struggle to afford basic needs buy a home, according to a press release from U.S. Sens. Ben Cardin and Chris Van Hollen and Reps. Jamie Raskin and David Trone, of Maryland.
