(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - Congressman Jamie Raskin (MD-08) released the following statement explaining his votes on the House and Senate Border Supplemental Appropriations bills: 

“I voted and argued YES on our House bill for border aid to address the terrible humanitarian crisis at the border and NO on the Senate bill which lacks checks on this lawless President and strips out most of the accountability measures we imposed to safeguard humane treatment. We must place real law on contractors and bureaucrats to protect children.”
