Traditional Requests

If you would like to submit traditional programmatic and language requests for Fiscal Year (FY) 2025, please do so using our FY 2025 Appropriations Request Submission Form by Monday, April 29 at NOON. Please note there is a separate deadline for community projects (below).

If you have multiple requests, please submit them separately.

Community Project Funding Requests

For FY 2025, the House Appropriations Committee will again accept limited requests for Community Project Funding (CPF) to direct federal funding to specific governmental entities and nonprofit organizations. Our deadline for Community Project Funding requests for FY 2025 is Tuesday, April 30 at 6pm Eastern Time. Applicants are encouraged to submit their project requests as soon as possible. Projects received after Tuesday, April 30 at 6pm Eastern Time will not be reviewed or considered.

Each Representative can submit a maximum of 15 requests total for FY 2025 to the House Appropriations Committee, and the final decision as to whether CPF requests will be fulfilled will be made by the Committee. Unfortunately, that means that many eligible and deserving projects will not receive Community Project Funding in the FY 2025 appropriations cycle.

If you would like to submit a request for Community Project Funding to our office for FY 2025, please:

1)     Review our Community Project Funding Guide to understand if your project is eligible. Please be advised that there are requirements that apply to all community projects, as well as specific requirements for each account and type of project.

2)     Complete the relevant application form for your project (based on account) no later than Tuesday, April 30 at 6pm. The forms are below:

  1. Agriculture and Related Agencies
  2. Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies
  3. Energy and Water Development
  4. Homeland Security
  5. Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies
  6. Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies
  7. Transportation, and Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies

3)     Send your Letters of Support and any futher supporting documents as one PDF attachment to MD08.Appropriations@mail.house.gov no later than Tuesday, April 30 at 6pm. Please name the PDF file using the following format: “Entity Name_Project Title_Support_Date.” For example: "City of Friendship_Friendship Regional Airport Improvements_Support_03.24.24."

Our final FY 2025 Community Project Funding requests will be fully transparent to the public. Each Member of Congress is required to post on their website the 15 CPF requests they submit to the Appropriations Committee. Therefore, all information submitted by a requesting organization should be considered public information. 

Only public entities, such as state and local governments, and certain 501(c)(3) nonprofits are eligible Community Project Funding recipients. For-profit entities are not eligible for CPF funding. Some accounts have additional restrictions on eligible recipients.

FY 2025 CPF requests are limited to specific eligible accounts.
